Getting injured is hard. Not getting better is harder. RXN’s approach to injury recovery is designed for active people who can’t afford to be on the bench longer than necessary — and who refuse to come back at 80% just to re-injure themselves.
We treat both acute injuries (the strain you got last week) and the chronic stuff (the shoulder issue that’s been off for a year). Same approach for both: figure out the real driver, fix it, then rebuild around it.
What is performance-focused injury recovery?
Performance-focused injury recovery is care designed for people whose lives depend on being physically active — not just to get out of pain, but to return to full performance better than before. It combines chiropractic adjustments, soft-tissue therapy, and progressive movement work in a structured plan with a clear endpoint. Unlike rehab-and-discharge models, it’s built around the demands of your sport, training, or work.
What kinds of injuries do you treat?
We treat a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries, including:
- Acute strains and sprains from training or sport
- Chronic, recurring injuries that haven’t resolved with other care
- Post-surgical recovery (once you’re cleared by your surgeon)
- Tendinopathies (tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, patellar tendinopathy, Achilles tendinopathy)
- Disc-related back and neck pain
- Rotator cuff issues and shoulder impingement
- Hip and groin pain (including FAI and labral issues)
- Knee pain (runner’s knee, IT band, meniscus, post-ACL return)
- Plantar fasciitis and other foot pain

What does the recovery process look like at RXN?
We follow a clear four-phase progression:
- Discovery Visit. Full history, movement screen, hands-on assessment. We map out what’s actually going on and lay out a treatment plan.
- Treatment phase. Manual care (adjustments, soft-tissue therapy) combined with targeted rehab exercises. Usually 1-2x per week initially, depending on severity.
- Transition phase. As pain reduces and function returns, sessions become more about rebuilding strength, movement quality, and capacity. You move from “patient” to “performance.”
- Discharge phase. We give you a maintenance plan and the tools to stay healthy on your own. We are not trying to keep you on the books forever.
What if I’ve already tried PT and it didn’t work?
This is one of the most common scenarios we see. Patients who finished a course of PT, were discharged, and either are still in pain or never got back to their previous level of activity. Our approach picks up where PT leaves off: we look at why the injury happened in the first place (movement compensations, training errors, biomechanical issues) and address the cause, not just the symptom. We also have more time per session, which lets us do work that’s often impossible in a busy PT clinic schedule.
How long does recovery usually take?
It depends on the injury and how long it’s been there. Acute injuries (days to weeks old) often resolve in 4-8 weeks. Chronic issues (months to years) typically take 8-16 weeks. We’ll set an honest expectation at your discovery visit — you’ll know upfront how long this is likely to take.
Do you work with other providers?
Yes, when appropriate. We coordinate with physical therapists, orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, and other care providers when your case benefits from it. The goal is always your recovery, not gatekeeping. If we think you need imaging, a specialist referral, or different care, we’ll tell you.
